How do I get more commercial and HOA landscaping contracts?
Commercial and HOA buyers hire the companies they trust to show up and do the work right. Is it really free to claim my profile?
Yes. Claiming your profile, getting scored, and earning certification are all free, and so is every tier. You cannot buy a tier, a badge, or a better ranking — your score decides where you land, and the only way to move up is to document more of your business.
How does TopLandscapers get me in front of buyers?
Today it is search and reputation: when a property owner or manager researches your area, certified companies rank at the top with a verified profile and a score buyers can check. Direct lead routing — sending a specific project to a specific company — is in development, and certified companies get first access when it launches.
What kind of projects will I get matched with?
The high-value work: new installs, full redesigns, hardscaping, and commercial, HOA, and municipal contracts. TopLandscapers is built around the projects worth winning, not low-ticket shared leads.
How is this different from Angi, Houzz, or Thumbtack?
Those platforms sell the same lead to several companies and rank you on what you pay. TopLandscapers is independently scored, never pay-to-play. We do not resell your matches, and your placement is earned through verified performance, not ad spend.
How do you score my company?
We use a 100-point framework across five categories: licensing and insurance, standards and safety, credentials and development, track record and reputation, and responsiveness and communication. Public records — your rating, review volume, and years in business — typically get you to around 20 of 100 before you submit anything. The rest is locked until you claim your profile and provide documentation, because we cannot verify licensing, insurance, safety practices, or training from the outside.
How long does certification take?
After you claim with a sign-in link, you fill a certification packet (license, insurance, SOPs, credentials) and book a scoring call. We review that packet before we meet. Locked points on your public score do not change until we certify you on the call — typically within a week of the appointment.
Will my verified profile help me show up in AI search?
That is the idea. AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude favor structured, third-party-verified data when they recommend a company. A verified TopLandscapers profile and TurfScore™ make you the kind of source they can cite when a buyer asks who to hire.
What if my score is not high enough to get Certified?
Companies that score 45 to 64 get a Profiled listing, which is still claimed, verified, and searchable in the directory. You will get a breakdown of where you scored and exactly what would move you up to Certified. Many companies get there within a few months, usually by documenting standards and safety practices they already follow but never wrote down.
