How do I get more commercial and HOA landscaping contracts?

Is it really free to claim my profile?
Yes. Claiming your profile, getting scored, and applying for certification are all free. Premium features, including lead referrals, featured placement, and priority matching, are available as a paid upgrade after you earn your certification.
How does TopLandscapers send me leads?
When a property owner or manager searches your area, certified companies surface as verified matches. Certified and Certified Elite companies are also eligible for direct lead referrals. The higher your tier, the more visibility and referral priority you get.
What kind of projects will I get matched with?
The high-value work: new installs, full redesigns, hardscaping, and commercial, HOA, and municipal contracts. TopLandscapers is built around the projects worth winning, not low-ticket shared leads.
How is this different from Angi, Houzz, or Thumbtack?
Those platforms sell the same lead to several companies and rank you on what you pay. TopLandscapers is independently scored, never pay-to-play. We do not resell your matches, and your placement is earned through verified performance, not ad spend.
How do you score my company?
We use a 100-point framework across five categories: licensing and insurance, operational standards, credentials and development, track record and reputation, and customer experience. Roughly 30 to 45 points come from public records before you submit anything. You provide documentation for the rest.
How long does certification take?
After you apply, we run an initial review from public data within 3 to 5 business days and reach out with a preliminary score. Full certification typically takes 1 to 2 weeks once any additional documentation is in.
Will my verified profile help me show up in AI search?
That is the idea. AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude favor structured, third-party-verified data when they recommend a company. A verified TopLandscapers profile and TurfScore™ make you the kind of source they can cite when a buyer asks who to hire.
What if my score is not high enough to get Certified?
Companies that score 40 to 64 get a Profiled listing, which is still searchable in the directory. You will get a breakdown of where you scored and exactly what would move you up to Certified. Many companies upgrade within a few months.
